At 300 PM EST...Radar and surface observations over New England
indicated moderate to heavy snowfall over Maine and beginning to
exit the region, ahead of a 1002 mb surface low and north of a
warm front analyzed south of the Maine Coast.

Heavy snowfall and mixed precipitation will exit New England later
this evening as the low migrates eastward. An additional 2-4
inches of snowfall is likely for northern Maine, and up to a few
hundredths of an inch of ice accretion farther south before
midnight.
