At 300 AM EST...Radar and surface observations over the interior
Northeast and New England observed a band of moderate to heavy
snowfall translating eastward, ahead of a 1002 mb surface low and
attached cold front analyzed in the Ohio Valley.

Heavy snowfall and mixed precipitation will continue over the
Northeast and New England today as the low migrates eastward.
12-18" of snowfall can be expected over northern Maine through
tomorrow morning, with an additional 0.10" of freezing rain
expected further south over portions of the interior Northeast and
New England.
