Lingering areas of rain and mountain snowfall should come to an
end later today across southern California and the northern
Rockies with additional precipitation totals remaining light.
Coastal rain and higher elevation snow showers will continue from
northern California into the Pacific Northwest through Thursday
morning ahead of a weakening upper level low located offshore of
the Pacific Northwest. Additional rainfall up to about one inch
and snowfall of 1-2 feet will be possible through Thursday morning
for western portions of northern California into Oregon. While
another storm system is expected to bring another round of rain
and snow to California on Thursday, this next storm will not last
as long, or have the same precipitation magnitude, as the
mutli-day atmospheric river event that is ending today.

This will be the last Storm Summary issued by the Weather
Prediction Center for this event. Please refer to your local
National Weather service office for additional information.
