At 800 PM CST...Regional radar and surface observations across the
Southern/Central Plains and Lower Mississippi Valley depict
widespread moderate to heavy snow, freezing rain, and rain within
the precipitation shield of a developing cyclone analyzed along
the central Texas coastline.

Through Saturday evening, significant storm total snowfall of 6 to
10 inches is expected from eastern Oklahoma eastward through the
Mid-South and Southern Appalachians. A tenth to three-tenths of an
inch of ice is also expected for southern Arkansas through
portions of the Southeast, including Atlantic and the Carolinas
through Saturday morning.
