Lake effect snow is forecast to continue in the Great Lakes
through the remainder of today as conditions remain relatively
favorable and persistent for heavy lake effect snow. Travel will
remain very difficult where the heaviest snow bands line up. The
lake effect snow event should start to wind down, but it will be
more of a regime change than a change to weather conditions as a
clipper system enters the region and brings the chance for more
snow and wind in the middle of the work week.

The next Storm Summary will be issued by the Weather Prediction
Center at 1000 PM EST. Please refer to your local National Weather
Service office for additional information on this event.
