...Tropical Storm Alberto is bringing heavy rain and gusty wind to
southeastern Texas...

A Flood Watch is in effect for South Texas and the southeast Texas
coast.

Flood Advisories and Flood Warnings are in effect for portions of
South Texas.

At 900 PM CDT...Tropical Storm Alberto was located over the
southwest Gulf of Mexico, and the broad circulation around Alberto
was bringing gusty onshore winds to the Texas Gulf Coast and
contributing to storm surge and coastal flooding at high tide.
Observations showed winds gusting between 35 to 50 mph. National
Weather Service Doppler Radar indicated moderate to heavy rain
bands moving across southeastern Texas. Below are preliminary
rainfall and wind observations associated with Alberto. For
