...Multiple days of excessive rainfall to produce potentially
historic flash flooding focused across the Lower Ohio Valley,
Mid-South, and Ozarks... 

Flood Watches are in effect from eastern Oklahoma and northeastern
Texas through the Mid-Mississippi and Ohio Valleys.

Flash Flood Warnings are in effect for portions of northern
Mississippi into southern Kentucky.

At 900 PM CDT...A potentially historic, prolonged flash flood
event continues across the Lower Ohio Valley, Mid-South, and
Ozarks. Radar and surface observations across these regions depict
widespread training showers and thunderstorms on the cool side of
a wavy stationary front.

This multi-day excessive rainfall event will bring serious concern
of potentially historic rainfall over portions of the Lower Ohio
Valley, Mid-South, and Ozarks. Widespread rainfall totals of 5
inches, with some locations seeing 10-15+ inches will lead to
serious concern of catastrophic, life-threatening flash flooding
in these areas. These rainfall amounts could also result in
widespread significant to potentially catastrophic river flooding
through the weekend in the Ozarks, Middle Mississippi Valley, and
Ohio Valley.
